Sharing its powertrain and chassis settings with Pure, Légende is faithful to Alpine’s core values of absolute agility and handling precision. Meanwhile, six-way adjustable comfort seats upholstered in black or brown leather, unique 18-inch diamond-turned ‘Légende’ wheels and high-gloss carbon fibre cabin trim highlight Légende’s grand touring character and everyday usability.
By combining styling cues from the iconic A110 Berlinette with modern design features, such as ‘X’-shaped LED taillights with dynamic turn indicators, the new A110 forms a link between Alpine’s heritage and its future. Led by Frenchman Antony Villain, the design team captured the spirit of Alpine while also creating a new design language that will stand the test of time.
A graceful line that flows from the very front of the car and over the wide rear wheel arches continues through to the low, uncluttered rear. A signature Alpine design feature, that exterior line underpins Légende’s elegance.
Inspired by the classic models of the Sixties and Seventies, the new A110 revives Alpine’s distinctive four headlamp design, now with full LED technology as standard.
Constructed from aluminium for lightness and bonded and riveted for strength, the compact body forms the basis of Légende’s agility and refinement. Sculpted flanks and a spine over the bonnet help to make it a true Alpine.
Two-tone 18-inch wheels that are unique to Légende recall a classic Alpine wheel design of the Sixties and Seventies. In combination with the A110’s retrospective design cues, the sophisticated diamond-turned wheels ensure Légende looks every inch a true Alpine.
The most agile sports car is the lightest one. Compact dimensions and an aluminium body keep weight to a minimum, while Sabelt sports seats ensure Pure is the lightest version of the A110.
Légende owes its agility and exceptional build quality to the very lightweight yet strong aluminium structure. Bonded and riveted to the benefit of both strength and lightness, the body is a clean-sheet Alpine design. Aluminium offers the best possible combination of strength, weight and build quality.
Engineered from the offset for lightness, Légende weighs as little as 1123kg. Lightweight aluminium is used for the suspension components as well as the body, while six-way adjustable comfort seats ensure Légende is as refined and comfortable over long journeys as it is thrilling to drive along mountain road.
A floating centre console reflects Légende's lightweight construction, while climate control air conditioning and smart phone connectivity ensure it is effortless to use everyday. Optional brown leather upholstery underscores Légende’s grand touring credentials.
The automatic air conditioning climate control system, which includes a particle filter and a windscreen defrost function, helps to ensure Légende’s cabin is a cosseting place to be whatever the conditions outside.
Adjustable six-ways and combining excellent lateral support with exceptional long journey comfort, Légende’s seats perfectly underscore the car’s grand touring character. Upholstered in black or brown leather, they also mirror its sophisticated design.
The flat-bottomed sports steering wheel, which incorporates the Mode Selector button, is trimmed in leather and microfibre fabric. Adjustable for rake and reach, the steering column also houses the pair of aluminium gearshift paddles.
Mounted directly behind the passenger compartment and powering the rear wheels, the turbocharged four-cylinder engine is Légende’s beating heart. Tuned by Alpine’s powertrain engineers to offer effortless acceleration and impressive power throughout the rev range, the 1.8-litre direct injection engine delivers strong performance and a sophisticated sports car soundtrack.

The turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivers a maximum power output of 252PS at 6000rpm with 320Nm of torque available from just 2000rpm, which equates to urgent acceleration in every gear.
Lightweight construction and turbocharged power give the A110 addictive straight-line performance and a power to weight ratio of 224PS/tonne. Using the launch control function, the A110 sprints to 100kph (62mph) in just 4.5 seconds.
Delivering that power to the rear wheels is a dual-clutch transmission, which offers ultra-quick gearshifts. Aluminium paddles on the steering column give the driver manual control over the gearbox for an engaging drive.
Légende takes Alpine’s core principles, such as compact size and lightweight construction, and deploys them with the latest technologies. Switchable drive modes ensure Légende is both engaging to drive on a winding road and refined and civilised over much longer journeys.
As well as its lightweight construction, Légende owes its agility and impressive ride comfort to the double wishbone suspension layout. This architecture improves bump absorption on uneven surfaces and stability in corners. The powerful and durable brakes, meanwhile, are supplied by Brembo.
Like all versions of the A110, Légende offers three driving modes. Using the Mode Selector function, the driver can switch between Normal, Sport or Track to adjust throttle response, steering assistance, gearshift speeds, exhaust sound and ESC level to suit the driving conditions.
By using the rear brakes to precisely manage torque delivery between the rear wheels, the torque vectoring system ensures superb traction and stability even in low-grip conditions, further enhancing Pure’s signature poise and agility.
Via its 7” central touchscreen, Légende offers a full range of multimedia functions, from smart phone mirroring and satellite navigation to in-car entertainment. Drivers can also view performance driving data during track days.
As well as displaying performance driving data, Alpine Telemetrics enables the driver to access real-time technical information such as power and torque output, turbo boost pressure and engine and tyre temperatures.
Fitted as standard, a four-speaker Focal stereo incorporates patented flax cone technology, which helps to keep the car’s weight to a minimum while also giving a crisp and rich sound quality. Audiophiles can further upgrade to Focal Premium. Included as standard, a DAB radio and MySpin mobile connectivity offer a full range of in-car entertainment.
L’écran tactile haute résolution de 7 pouces propose de nombreuses fonctions multimédia incluant un système de réplication pour smartphone Android et iOS ainsi qu’un système de navigation par satellite européen.
