Olli Caldwell joins the Alpine Academy following an encouraging season in Formula 3 where the Briton took his first race win and several podiums throughout the year.

After honing his craft in karting, which culminated in a second-place finish in the Rotax Euro Challenge, Olli made the switch to single-seaters in 2016. After spells in British F4 and the ADAC F4 Championship, Olli made a statement of intent with a third placed finish in the Italian F4 Championship, with four wins across the year.

After a season in the Formula Regional Championship, Olli made the step up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Trident Racing. After a largely experience-building season, Olli signed with Prema Racing for the 2021 season. He took a race win in Formula 3 in Barcelona, adding a further three podiums on his way to 93 points. This year, Olli will race in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Campos Racing after two outings for the team in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi last year.
