Alpine launches Rac(H)er, an ambitious programme for equal opportunities in motorsport & automotive
• From racing drivers to engineering and technical roles, the Rac(H)er programme lays out a clear and defined roadmap to increase the diversity of talent within Alpine.
• Alpine can no longer afford to deprive itself of a pool of female talent, whose skills and experience are a real performance differentiator.
• The programme is transformative and forms part of Renault Group’s long-term goal, as laid out in the Renaulution strategic plan introduced by Group CEO Luca de Meo in 2021.
• The lack of female drivers in F1 highlights the issue at large; BWT Alpine F1 Team will also introduce a comprehensive programme to increase diversity, including within its driver roster.

BWT Alpine F1 Team scored a season best ten points from today’s Canadian Grand Prix with Esteban Ocon finishing sixth and Fernando Alonso closely behind in seventh at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. A post-race penalty for Fernando added five seconds to his race time, meaning the Spaniard ended in ninth place.
